Meeting the WolverineAUTHOR’S NOTES: I love the X-Men movies, but I was severely disappointed in the character of Rogue. This originally began as a short story exercise and a speculative fic about what I would have done in Rogue‘s place, but soon spun wildly out of control! All of the X-Men characters are © Stan Lee and Marvel Comics (you’ll noticed that I included the British Pyro, as he was in the original script, as was the Blob). Kara © Kara Senecal, obviously.

X-Men: NyxAUTHOR’S NOTES: Check Disclaimers page for character copyrights. This was inspired by my earlier work, Meeting the Wolverine. This is comic-verse X-Men, and takes place post X-Files: Unnatural Selection & pre Tigress. There are references to other stories here, but those haven’t been posted yet. And yes, there are some time inconsistencies, but I don’t think you’ll have any problems. And, just so you know, I had to guess what had happened in the comics (i.e. Wolverine going back to the Weapon X facility). And I think I saw another story with a similar title, but it’s just a coincidence!! I am NOT A HACK!

About the LOZ fics ....

I have removed all 3 of my LOZ fics at the request of Sandahl as to not infringe on her characters. I might fix up the stories and repost them, but I am so submerged in my own original work that I promise nothing at this point. I feel bad because I know that there were still some people who were reading them, but I don't want to use Sandahl's characters without her permission. I'll try to come up with something.

Meanwhile, if anyone feels the need to contact me, please do it through DA. Do not email/call/IM/or even snail mail me. I MEAN IT. Responses are appreciated, but I'm beyond fed up with the pseudo-stalker crap.

So I apologize for the fics. I'll see what I can do.

I loved your story "Meeting the wolverine" but I was really annoyed because the story cut off on "He drew a shuddering". Could you please send me a full copy of the story or post the story AGAIN but from that sentence onwards?

If you really feel the need to take it down, it's your decision--but at least put it somewhere accessible to me or send me copies (read-only, of course). >D

Hits and comments are not important. Look at my grand total of four deviations there. I don't know Photoshop or inking, so how am I to improve on my drawings now that they're scanned and submitted? (Read: No one is interested in MY stuff, either.) As far writing, a lot of people are on DA for the art, and won't give a lot of stories or poetry the time of day. And ff.net doesn't help, for all the really horrible writers on there who write to cater to other really horrible writers or their friends who comment. Also, when people do read fanfics, they tend to be wary of OCs and won't give them a chance.

Don't let it get you down, if that's the case. You're a unique and unbelievably imaginative and focused writer. You are able to breathe life into the canon characters as well as your own (and Clara's and Sandahl's).
